The Harley Davidson Roadster motorcycle combines stoplight-to-stoplight power, agility and a custom built style to shatter every mould. Shaped by nearly 60 years of heritage and stripped to the essential elements of a pure riding machine, in 2016 the Harley-Davidson Roadster joined the Dark Custom line-up with a minimalist design inspired by classic racing motorcycles and current trends in stripped-down, naked custom bikes.

Tucked in, fastback style and corner cranking torque for a street eating machine.

The Roadster combines low-end torque, agile handling, and custom garage style. It’s refined performance package includes 43mm inverted front forks, dual disc brakes, adjustable rear suspension and new dual gauge instrumentation with speedo and tach. Turn the 1200cc Evolution engine loose at the nearest drag strip.

It only takes three words to describe the look of a Roadster motorcycle: garage built custom. One garage name was needed to top it off and to make this machine something to truly be admired. A Gasoline Motor Co custom named Mr Bungle after the Heavy Metal Rock N Roll artist that produces some very interesting thrash metal and spectacular guitar riffs.

When this 2017 Harley Davidson Roadster came through the doors of our custom workshop with an owner open to experimentation, the team knew this was going to be a truly unique setup.

Looks alone do the bike justice throughout. Every piece of bodywork has been carefully custom painted with a black-on-black finish to give the Roadster a menacing look whilst hitting the tarmac.

Up Front of this Roadster giving it it’s mean look is a Thrashin Supply Company Low Bend Tracker Bar bolted down to a custom handlebar clamp alongside Ricks Motorcycles speedometer housing.

As well as customising down to the finest detail, the guys at Gasoline Motor Co knew that a Harley Davidson Roadster should never lose its heritage signature, starting with its upside down front forks. The build has truly brought heritage and custom design together to tick all the boxes. Dominion Grips, Arlen Ness Oval Mirror Set, Ricks Adjustable Levers, custom mounted Kellermann Atto turn signals tucked behind a thunderbike bikini fairing with a tinted screen & LED headlight all caress this custom build, giving it the perfect mix of old and new and marking it a street tracker vibe.

Alongside an all-new S&S Air Stinger Black Teardrop air cleaner kit, Black ceramic coated TBR 2into1 exhaust system, paired up with a V&H Fuel Pack. All of which sits on Black Edition Piggyback Shocks paired with Genuine Indian motorcycle rubber from the FTR Dunlop DT3R Flat Track Tyre. This Harley Roadster really ticks all the boxes.

The Team at Gasoline Motor Co, have gone all out with this build and really pushed the boundaries of old meets new. Retro meets modern. Down to the last fine detail. That couldn’t be truer with this Roadster as rounding off the design is a custom Kansai Giant wrap around number plate bracket with LED surround & Kellermann Atto Dual Function lighting package, alongside a Custom laser etched logo on derby cover. Details like these ensure this Harley is a day to day street tracker that can be used on road trips, or just lookout hopping on any Sunday.
